Office Network and Security Services in Dubai

Reliable office connectivity starts with practical network planning, configuration and security. Digitronix helps Dubai businesses set up office networks, business WiFi, routers, switches, firewalls and secure access around their operational requirements.

Who this service is for

For small and growing offices with unreliable WiFi, new premises, additional users or equipment, and teams needing secure remote access. Planning starts with your floor layout, connected devices, applications and internet service rather than a fixed equipment bundle.

What we can help with

Office network design and setup

Plan a practical office network around users, connected devices, business applications and the physical workspace. Review existing equipment and agree the installation or remediation scope before configuration.

Business WiFi installation

Plan access point placement around coverage, capacity, walls and interference. Configure agreed staff and guest access and validate representative coverage areas after installation.

Router and switch configuration

Configure the agreed equipment, addressing, ports and supported VLANs where appropriate. Review power and uplink needs and document the settings used for the devices and locations in scope.

Firewall configuration

Review required traffic and configure agreed firewall rules, guest separation and network segments where the equipment supports them. Record approved access requirements and test permitted connectivity.

Secure remote access

Configure supported VPN or remote access arrangements for authorised users. Confirm authentication, permissions and device requirements, then test access to the agreed office resources.

Network troubleshooting and maintenance

Diagnose connectivity and WiFi issues and review equipment configurations. Provide the agreed documentation at handover; recurring checks, updates and maintenance require an agreed support scope.

A Network Designed Around Your Business

A new office, relocation or network upgrade needs more than a list of equipment. The assessment connects your team's daily work with the premises, connectivity and access controls the network must support.

People, devices and daily workloads

Review employee numbers, wired and wireless devices, business applications and video-conferencing workloads. Discuss when usage peaks and which tasks are most affected by unreliable connectivity.

Floor plan and shared resources

Use the office layout, meeting rooms and physical constraints to plan connectivity and WiFi placement. Account for printers, shared devices and guest access rather than assuming every area has the same requirements.

Internet, access and future expansion

Identify internet connection requirements, authorised remote access, security boundaries and expected growth. Equipment capabilities and premises constraints determine what can be configured; the quotation records the agreed scope.

Equipment selection can be coordinated through business IT hardware procurement.

For email, collaboration and connected cloud applications, review Microsoft 365 and cloud setup.

Project work and ongoing support

Standalone network projects

For new offices, relocations, upgrades and one-time configuration. Agree design, installation, remediation and validation in the quotation. Hardware, cabling, premises access and internet-provider work are identified separately. An AMC is not required.

Ongoing IT support

For agreed maintenance, troubleshooting and assistance after deployment. Supported devices, locations, included visits and response arrangements are defined in the quotation or AMC terms. Equipment replacement is included only where explicitly agreed.

Explore ongoing IT AMC support

This service covers office networking and configuration security. Penetration testing, formal compliance audits, a security operations centre and incident response are not included in this offer. Hardware and vendor subscriptions are separate unless listed in the quotation; coverage and performance depend on premises, equipment and external connectivity.

Common buying questions

Can Digitronix set up a network for a new Dubai office?

Yes. We assess the premises, users, applications and connectivity requirements before quoting the agreed installation and configuration. Internet-provider work, cabling responsibilities and access permissions must be confirmed in the scope.

Can we purchase network installation without an AMC?

Yes. New installations, upgrades and one-time network configuration are available as standalone projects. You can decide separately whether recurring support is needed after handover.

What equipment is required for an office network?

The assessment determines whether routers, managed switches, access points, a firewall and cabling changes are needed. Quantities and specifications depend on devices, floor layout, existing equipment and application requirements; there is no universal equipment bundle.

Do small businesses need a firewall?

We review internet access, connected systems, remote users and the controls already in place. A firewall can enforce agreed traffic rules, but the appropriate configuration depends on your environment and does not replace other device and account controls.

Can existing routers and switches be reused?

We assess their condition, supported features and suitability for the agreed requirements. Reuse or replacement is confirmed in the quotation; existing hardware is not assumed to support every proposed configuration.

Can guest WiFi be separated from the main network?

Where the equipment supports it, we can configure agreed guest access and network separation. We review access-point placement, permissions and segmentation and test the agreed connectivity before handover.

Does network installation include ongoing maintenance?

Ongoing maintenance is included only if explicitly agreed. A separate support quotation or AMC defines supported equipment, visits, service hours and response arrangements; installation does not automatically include a continuing contract.

How is the network setup cost calculated?

Cost depends on the assessment, equipment, cabling and installation responsibilities, configuration complexity, premises access and testing scope. We provide a written quotation rather than a universal fixed price; vendor subscriptions and ongoing support are identified separately.
