Digitronix Advanced Digital Technology Solutions LLC-FZ ("Digitronix", "we", "us") provides IT support, business IT hardware procurement, custom software, automation, websites and related services to businesses in the UAE and elsewhere.

We take the confidentiality and proper handling of personal data seriously and aim to handle it in line with the UAE personal data protection framework and other applicable law.

This policy explains how we handle personal data when you use our website or deal with us. Nothing in this document excludes or limits any right you have under mandatory UAE law.

We do not ask for sensitive personal data through our website, and ask that you do not send it to us.

  • Through the forms on our website, including the contact form, the hardware quote form and AMC enquiries.
  • Through email.
  • Through phone calls and WhatsApp messages.
  • Through analytics and technical logs when you visit the website.
  • Through business relationships, for example from your employer or organisation when we provide services to it, or from suppliers and partners involved in an order.

4. How we use personal data

We use personal data to:

  • respond to enquiries and requests;
  • prepare and send quotations and proposals;
  • deliver services, including IT support and AMC services, software, automation and website work;
  • source, order, configure, deliver and support hardware;
  • provide support and keep records of it;

  • prevent fraud and abuse and keep our systems and website secure;
  • understand how the website is used and improve our website and services;
  • comply with legal and regulatory obligations and keep records;
  • manage our customer relationships; and

Submitting an enquiry form does not require you to agree to marketing.

  • payment providers, if a payment is taken through one;
  • accounting and finance providers;

We do not sell personal data.

7. International transfers

Some of our service providers may process personal data outside the UAE. Where personal data is transferred outside the UAE, we will take reasonable steps to make sure it is protected, as required by applicable law.

8. How long we keep personal data

We keep personal data only for as long as is reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including business, legal, contractual, security and regulatory purposes such as accounting and record keeping, and the period during which a claim could arise. When we no longer need it, we delete or anonymise it, or restrict access to it.

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, such as access controls, secure connections and limiting access to people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe your data has been put at risk, please contact us straight away.

10. Your rights

Subject to applicable UAE law and its conditions and exceptions, you may have the right to:

  • ask whether we hold personal data about you and request access to it;
  • ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete personal data;
  • ask us to restrict, stop or object to certain processing;
  • ask us to delete personal data, where applicable;
  • withdraw consent where we rely on it; and
  • complain to the competent data protection authority.

To make a privacy request, email support@digitronix.io with "Privacy request" in the subject line. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request, and we will respond within the time required by applicable law.

11. Marketing and opting out

We only send marketing communications where appropriate and permitted. You can opt out of marketing at any time by using the opt-out link in a message or by emailing us. Opting out of marketing does not affect service messages that we need to send you, such as quotations, order updates, invoices and support communications.

13. Children

Our services are intended for businesses and adult users. We do not knowingly target children or collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
